This is one of the best French presses I've used! I've tried a lot of presses over the years and I generally don't like them much. I typically don't like the amount of fines that end up in the cup, and the bitterness that ensues. I'd rather take a moment as do a quick pour over. My wife, however, loves the French press for it's simplicity.I bought this for her especially because it was double walled to keep the coffee hot longer. When I tasted the first cup out of this press I was super surprised that it wasn't silty or bitter at all!When cleaning the press after a batch of coffee I discovered that it has an extra super fine membrane in the plunger that most brands don't. This means a little more cleaning, but a very clean cup of coffee with almost no fines!I'm very happy with this press and my wife loves it. It looks good, works well and makes a great cup of coffee.
