This drill press vise is cast and then precision machined. Overall size is 9-1/4" long x 5-3/4" wide x 2-1/8" tall with jaws closed. Jaws measure 3" wide x 1-1/8" high with a maximum jaw opening of 3". Jaws have multiple vertical and horizontal V-grooves for holding round stock. Has 5-3/8" x 7/16" bolt slots on each side to secure vice to machines. liding T bar handle applies appropriate torque.

I originally ordered the 4" Irwin drill press vise. Returned it for this one and couldn't be happier. For only a few dollars more this is a much, much better vise. For my needs I can't imagine a better product in this price range.
