I first purchased a cheaper unit that was made of more plastic parts. It had multiple size/shaped moulds, but you get what you pay for. You practically have to stand up with all your body weight to get anything to work. and one of every 2-3 buttons fail. In addition, one of the plastic moulds cracked within 2 days. So I decided to go for something solid, yet I wanted a unit that used multiple shapes & sizes. so I decided on Chibuttons. The unit arrived well-packed and you know your're getting something of quality when you feel how heavy that box is. Right from the start, the unit cranked out buttons with ease. No hiring hercules to pull down the lever. Pressing buttons was a breeze - even a senior can probably knock these out of the park. Ordering additional moulds and magnets come from Canada, but they ship out quickly and the extra few days wait is worth it. The additional moulds are heavy duty - very weighty and built like tanks. You'll love the additional shapes. Customer service is so on target. They solved an issue without hesitation. One of the best experiences I've had with any company.Item arrive already set up and box came with all the components also included 10 sheets of copy paper to start with, an instruction booklet and link to company and YouTube videos for demonstration. The gasket was placed in the attachments I mistakenly got it caught temporarily in the attachment. I though I broke it reached out via email to chi buttons and it was an easy fixThey have so many attachments in different sizes can wait to try them after I get going with thisI don't know why Amazon is saying they don't ship to my area (I'm on a military installation in ROK), cause they shipped this to me and I'm SO GLAD they did. Maybe I just got lucky. At any rate, just made my first two trial buttons and they were so simple. I did have to go to the Chibutton YouTube channel to view a video on how to make a button, as no instructions are included in the box, however the video was extremely easy to follow.I'm so pleased that I will be ordering more of the molds for making other sizes of buttons.I was so nervous buying this because it’s a lot of money and there were few reviews, but we desperately needed a button maker for an upcoming project so I gave it a shot. I’m SO glad we did! It’s fantastic. It’s very heavy, strong, durable metal. Excellent quality - I was pleasantly surprised! It’s smooth and works beautifully. I do wish it had come with a different circle cutter for paper, though - the razor isn’t much better than scissors, but that’s no big deal. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!Tried a few of the other brands and they broke within 10 uses. The machines with the plastic sliding pieces are garbage. This one is sturdy, durable and makes great pins (with metal backs I might add).Very easy to use and there is a video on their site to dummy proof it.Super user friendly, does the job, I’ve had a few buttons that haven’t sealed correctly so that was a bummer, aside from that it’s a great machineI mistakenly purchased this kit instead of the one with the hand punch, but...The machine is very sturdy and came fully assembled so I could get started right away. The pink is a nice touch! There are tutorials online for how to use it, and once you’ve figured it out it becomes second nature.I tried to use the circle cutter that came with this kit, but I didn’t like it at all. It gave me rough edges and it wasn’t very easy to tell if I had it set at the right size. I would highly recommend spending the extra few bucks to get the kit which includes the hand punch. It’s MUCH easier, faster, and produces better results.Easy to assemble and use! Very sturdy design made of metal. I would definitely recommend this product.Love this machine and there customer service is supreme. I buy from good people, and they are one of them.Works Great! Only one or two buttons messed up while trying to figure it out. Missing half of the MYLAR pieces required to make the buttons. Other then that I am super happy.Outstanding! I’m having a blast!
