The FSA BB30 Bearing Press is a well-designed tool that works exactly as intended, easily, precisely and automatically aligning BB30 bearings with the edge of the BB30 bottom bracket shell. To press bearings into the bottom bracket shell of my $4,000 carbon triathlon bicycle frame, I was prepared to rely upon none other than a professional grade, proven tool. Don't make the mistake of relying upon cheap "consumer" grade adaptors on 5/8" bolts that are not self-centering and inevitably shift upon applying pressure, pressing the bearing unevenly into the shell, compelling the premature purchase of a bearing removal tool.
